We cannot consider your application for the Canada Global Stream unless you demonstrate your ability to meet the criteria. Candidates will receive a response based on the information provided.

Due to the considerable numbers inquiring for a very limited number of places, those who do not demonstrate their ability to meet the criteria will not be contacted.

Inquiries to the Canada Program shared through the secure form that are clearly generated by AI (Artificial Intelligence), including those generated using ChatGPT and Claude for example, cannot be reviewed. We encourage individuals to submit the form in the language they are most comfortable using, including Arabic, Chinese, Dari, English, Farsi, French, Spanish etc.

Repeated emailing to lobby in support of an inquiry is strongly discouraged and will result in no response.

The Refugee Stream is not a quick solution for emergency situations, but a process that may take several months or upwards of one year and will require submission of several detailed forms, comprehensive references and support documentation.

The Refugee Stream is managed by the Canadian Government. Front Line Defenders will advise the Canadian Government on human rights defenders at risk. Front Line Defenders will not be involved in the resettlement process itself.

By filling-out and sending this form, I hereby acknowledge that I agree that Front Line Defenders (FLD) and any FLD staff may use the information I share with them, based on Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation, including special categories of personal data under article 9 of the GDPR. The information processed by Front Line Defenders is used in the frame of its privacy policy. Front Line Defenders may use, collect, process and transfer the information I have provided outside Europe, via secured systems and with complete confidentiality and in strict respect of the applicable laws, in order to fulfill the goals and guidelines of FLD according to the FLD Privacy policy found on the Front Line Defenders website.
